점심 먹고 나오는 길, 누군가 묻습니다. "커피 누가 사냐?" 사다리 타기는 식상하고, 가위바위보는 무승부만 나고, 제비뽑기는 종이도 없습니다. 내기(Who Buys?)는 바로 그 순간을 위해 만든 앱입니다 — 미니게임 한 판으로 커피·점심·벌칙 당첨자를 그 자리에서 공정하게 정합니다. 게임은 수단이고, 목적은 '누가 할지'를 빠르고 깔끔하게 정하는 것입니다.

세 가지 방법

  1. 이 폰에서 바로 — 룰렛·동전·사진 뽑기로 접속 없이 한 대로 즉시 결정합니다.
  2. 링크 보내기 — 친구는 앱 설치 없이 링크만 눌러 브라우저에서 3초 만에 참여합니다.
  3. 실시간 멀티플레이 — 각자 자기 폰으로 동시에 시작하고, 진 사람이 삽니다.

조작 걱정 없는 공정함

순위 판정은 전부 서버에서 처리합니다. 클라이언트의 시각은 신뢰하지 않고 기기 내 경과 시간만 사용하며, 자극 시점·꽝 위치 같은 게임 파라미터는 서버가 1회용 토큰과 함께 난수로 발급합니다. 모두의 기록(0.001초 단위)이 결과 화면에 공개되니 누가 봐도 결과가 투명합니다. 방장도 예외 없이 같이 게임합니다.

돈이 오가는 도박이 아닙니다

'내기'의 판돈은 커피 한 잔, 설거지 당번, 회식 벌칙 같은 현실의 가벼운 약속입니다. 앱에는 결제·포인트·가상화폐·상금이 일절 없습니다. 룰렛·주사위는 차례나 당첨자를 정하는 도구일 뿐입니다.

About Who Buys?

Walking out after lunch, someone always asks: "Who's buying coffee?" Drawing straws is stale, rock-paper-scissors keeps tying, and nobody has paper for a lottery. Who Buys? was built for exactly that moment — one quick mini game decides who pays for the coffee, the lunch, or the forfeit, right on the spot. The game is just the means; the point is settling "who has to do it" quickly and cleanly.

Three ways to settle it

  1. On one phone — spin a wheel, flip a coin or pick a photo and decide instantly, no connection needed.
  2. Send a link — friends join from the browser in about 3 seconds, with no app to install.
  3. Real-time multiplayer — everyone starts at once on their own phone, and the loser pays.

Fair by design

Every result is judged on the server. We never trust the client's clock — only on-device elapsed time — and game parameters (cue timing, the location of the "dud", and so on) are issued by the server as random values with a single-use token. Everyone's records (down to 0.001 seconds) are shown on the result screen, so the outcome is transparent to all. The host plays by the same rules as everyone else.

Not real-money gambling

The "stake" is a real-world favor — a cup of coffee, who does the dishes, a small party forfeit. There is no payment, no points, no virtual currency and no cash prizes anywhere in the app. The wheel and dice are simply tools for choosing a turn or a winner.
